Some useful OS X apps

I recently tried SuperDuper! and found it to be quite speedy and convenient way of keeping a mirror of my laptop as a backup. Its much faster than Retrospect (which aims at being a full featured backup system, as oposed to SuperDuper!) which sadly still is not available as an Universal application.

Another cool application is ScreenRecycler, which allows to extend OSXs desktop over other computers over the network using VNC. It does need a pretty fast network to work in a totally transparent fashion, but its a nice idea and works. (Ive only tried it in a tri-head configuration; the laptops display, a second physical screen attached to the MacBook and the third one using ScreenRecycler)
