I have been doing some searching, and I haven't found anything that seems to be what I want.  I am looking for a basic, assembler for PPC.  I want to make some patches for PPC code, so I need something that I can take a collection of instructions and assemble into byte code.  Should be simple enough, right?

Any suggestions?
