After getting used to always having IDA around, I found myself without the means to keep her current. this sudden change hasnt resolved itself, so now I face the decision to solve it personally (vs professionally), or find creative ways of making old versions work within changing environments. I am curious how others have solved similar scenarios.

This PoC performs code execution to launch calc.exe. Should be simple to modify.

I wonder how long before it is used.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. After having the splendid opportunity to meet Ero, I have thrown myself full force into the reversing community. Things have been quite stagnant for a while now, and this gives me something that wil l really challenge me.

I appreciate what openrce.org has to offer, and would like to become a regular contributor. If anyone needs any malware samples, snort rules, or post-compromise analysis I am your guy. Until then, I hope to siphon intelligence from everyone here ;)
