This week I had some ideas for writing a serie of crackmes for GNU/Linux.

Today I have released the first one (sooner than expected) called pcme0.

This crackme offers some interesting tips. It breaks the disassembly analysis on various programs. It also adds some exotic antidebugging techniques and fools the execution path
spliting the control flow between multiple processes.

I have published this crackme within a challenge-like rules giving "points" for different achievements.

I have some other new ideas not yet exploited to fool reverserse engineers and applications we use. I think this can be a good testcase for developing better tools, debuggers and techniques for reverse engineering on *nix environments. (and also for other ;)

Have fun!
