Hybrid DDK Now Works
After two days of mad trying, today i've succeded to make working my hybrid DDK System (WinXP Os and 2K's DDK). The problem resides totally in the Environment, and more precisely into SetEnv.bat, located in \ntddk\bin\ Procedure to overcome this problem it's also truly simple: Into parents the commands that needs to be invoked 1) Invoke (setenv.bat DDK_PATH). 2) Invoke the first time ( Build OR Build -cZ ), this will compile all \src\ entryes, and other files as build.dat, will be created. 3) Cleanup all \src\ directory, and put inside your code to be compiled. 4) Call again setenv, (Setenv FULL_PATH_OF_DDK), this will create FREE .sys for CHECKED, procedure is the same. 5) Build, is now ready to build, .sys files. I've also noticed, that you have to call (Setenv FULL_PATH_OF_DDK) every time you need to use BUILD. PS: To make Build work, you have also to modify some files into \Vc98\include\ one is (Exdisp.odl) and the others *.odl that build error messages shows you. In each of these files you will see: importlib(STDOLE_TLB); that you have to overwrite with: importlib("STDOLE_TLB"); See you to the next post! ;) Comments
