Hi,
if the current disassembled instruction is push, how do I get 0x56 (the instruction in hex)?

In IDAPython, if you have the address in a variable 'ea', you can do value = Byte(ea) to the the byte value, you can repeat that as many times as ItemSize(ea) tells you to. Which will be the instruction length. It should be nearly the same in IDC
