Does anyone have a generic program to dump a chunk of memory from a Windows NT process to a file?  I'm using XP 64 and OllyDbg breaks (literally and figuratively) in XP 64 even trying to debug a 32-bit process.

Yes I know how to use ReadProcessMemory - I just don't want to reinvent the wheel.

i use my own tool 'memdump'

* source
* binary
* manual

it is 2 tools compiled from 1 source, pmemdump, which can read memory of windows ce devices, and memdump, which reads winxp memory.

I don't know if it will work in win64.

I downloaded the source code of your memory program and then tried to compile them. I get errors at the lines #include debug.h etc. They are not present on your site either. Where can I download these files. Also which lib files do I need to add. Thanking you for placing your code on the net

download everything under http://nah6.com/~itsme/cvs-xdadevtools/itsutils/

and use cygwin + gnu make + microsoft embedded vc++ + visual studio 2003 to build.

debug.h is in itsutils/common/debug.h

Why not use windbg to attach that process and use .dump command to take a process dump? You can control the dump size with various parameters of this command.
