Secunia offers a full time position, where your daily work involves reverse engineering of software and exploit code, auditing of source code, and analysis of vulnerability reports.
It is important that you are experienced in reverse engineering and is profound in C / C++ coding. Your experience with reverse engineering and C / C++ programming does not need to be work related.
Preferably, you have coded and reverse engineered software on both Windows and Linux or other *BSD and Unix variants.
You must be fluent in English, use your debugger and disassembler to find vulnerabilities, and have an in depth understanding of operating system concepts and security models.
You will be working in a team with other highly skilled security researchers and developers, who all are happy to share their knowledge and experience about vulnerabilities, exploitation, and programming.
Your primary tasks will involve binary analysis of exploits and vulnerabilities and to determine if vulnerabilities have been properly patched and analyse if any issues has been silently fixed by the vendors.
Reversing must be a passion as your skills will be challenged on a daily basis and you will be working several hours everyday in IDA, Ollydbg, and with BinDiff. Often, it is also required that you write a PoC or even a working exploit to prove that an issue is exploitable.
