Job Title: Protection Engineer (2 POSITIONS)

Status: Either full or part-time
Description
RCI is developing active protection for software applications using a patent pending technique called sneak circuits. The technique recognizes attempts to tamper with or reverse engineer executables and responds with counter-measures.
RCI is looking for one or more professionals to perform the analysis needed to finalize our R&D and help develop tool products for use in technology demonstrations.
Skills/Essential Functions
The ideal candidates would possess:
- Proven ability to tackle interesting problems with a minimum of direction.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages and techniques in an independent manner.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software interfaces (how function calls are handled).
- Strong programming skills, knowledge and abilities.
+ C/C++ and assembly programming language skills required.
+ Knowledge of Java and Java tools a plus
+ Windows XP/Pro knowledge along with Visual Studio experience.
- Familiarity with reverse engineering tools like debuggers and IDA Pro.
- Ability to work in a research environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and communications skills.
Candidate with some of the skills/essential functions mentioned will be considered full or part-time.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- B.S. in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)
