I'm wondering... since there's a good bit of work involved in getting PaiMei functional, would there be enough interest among the community in making a VM that could be shared around? I've got a lot of free time and am looking for useful projects.

I tend to use mostly XP - what would people want it built under?

Then again, it occurs to me that this would likely be a license violation, and updates would fail after a while when M$ blocks access from too many machines sharing the same ID.

Thoughts, opinions, suggestions?
