Working on unlocking VBK for fair use

Im working on figuring out coursesmart vbk ebook format, looks like a chm file when you open it with their reader. I have done some poking around in the file and see what looks like pdf components along with jpeg images, the rest seems to be encrypted. I was thinking about capturing logs with wireshark, but if its encrypted its useless.
