Job Title: Manager, Security Research
Dept:      Websense Security Labs
Location:  San Diego Office


Websense Security Lab's mission is to discover and investigates today's advanced Internet threats and publishes its findings through short, medium, and long term projects that are designed to discover malicious code, websites, and Spyware and assist in the protection of customers. The Manager of Security Research will supervise and manage a team of security experts.

Skills / Essential Functions:
- Proven ability to supervise and manage a team of security experts.
- Proven track record at assisting in innovation and maintenance of security-related products.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to oversee, mentor, and collaborate with other researchers.
- Strong technical and business skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressures and to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required:
- BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience supervising or managing security experts in the field of AntiVirus, Network Security, or other related
- Willing to be located in San Diego, CA (relocation provided if needed)
